Professional and Personal Profile:
Nelson
joined the firm in 2001 after relocating from
Chicago, Illinois and has experience in corporate law,
business litigation, and intellectual property.
Before
law school, Nelson worked in the glass bottle machine
industry as a Tool Design Engineer and a Computerized
Numerical Control programmer. He also worked within the
semiconductor industry designing and constructing
research grade automated semiconductor spin-coat process
systems.
Nelson was on the John
Marshall Moot Court Council and represented his school
in competition at the Illinois State Bar Association
Moot Court Competition. He has been inducted into the Phi Delta
Phi legal honor fraternity and a recipient
of The John Marshall Law School Dean's Scholarship.
On
the Personal Side:
Nelson, his wife Amy, and three children live in the
southwestern suburbs of St. Louis. He enjoys
camping, canoeing and hiking with his family.
